Christmas in Tampa '08

Hey there everyone! I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas! We definitely did! I must say, it never fails to be back in Tampa for the Christmas holiday. Because of my wonderful job, I was able to be home for an entire week! And let me tell you, in the Martino/Castellvi/Rodriguez crew (which is the entire make-up of my family), we require at least 8 days to visit properly. The only bummer was catching the worst cold I've had in years, and that's saying a lot considering I'm a teacher!

Regardless, it was awesome! Harrison and I loved spending time at home with the fam, being there for Amo's engagement party, having our annual Girlfriends Christmas KK Dinner, being thrown a surprise baby shower by my amazing ladies in Tampa, hitting up the Martino family Christmas party and of course, no Christmas would be complete without Christmas eve at home and Christmas morning at Tia Ire's! The week was filled with great times, lots of laughs and many, many hugs and kisses. It must be said though, that Rami, the holiday will never quite be complete without you. We missed you guys very much.

It is always hard to go but the holidays aren't over yet! I am now back in Montgomery and prepping for the Campbell Christmas gift giving tonight! We are looking forward to spending some time with the fam and are very curious about all of the large colorful kid-friendly gifts we've been snooping on under the tree! Tuesday, we head down to Seaside with our buddies to ring in the New Year. Can't wait!!!

As for today, well we had another sonogram of Lola! We are so happy to say that Lola is looking happy, healthy and growing right on time! I am trying to scan in these pics but am having some technical difficulties, so bear with me if they aren't up quite yet. In other news, my belly has grown for sure and Christine has convinced me to take photos to prove it. So feel free to check them out. I'm still adjusting to them! Oh yeah the best Christmas gift of all today, we are having a leather recliner delivered a thanks to my folks! It's this ergonomic chair that balances in all these different spots. Anyone that knows me knows how much I'm going crazy over this! My folks were nice enough to send it our way and I have been anxiously awaiting for the chair to arrive all day. Ok as this blog is supposed to be about my baby and not a chair, I'll stop now. But I will post pics of it when it arrives, I promise you that...

It's so great to hear how much everyone has been enjoying this blog! Your comments are great and have made me a little choked up I gotta admit. Enjoy the pics and stay tuned for the next installment of the Campbell Chronicles!

Have a Happy New Year!!!

Baby Lola

Hey there everybody! In honor of baby Lola, I decided to start this blog in order to keep everyone involved with pics, updates and stories as they happen this year. As much as I'd like to claim this as my brilliant idea, I must give a special "shout out" to Lindsey and the "Henig Herd" whose blog gave me the idea to start one as well. However, I must give the disclaimer that I cannot promise this blog will be half as entertaining, organized, or well updated! But I promise I'll try :)

SO, to begin right, let me start off by saying officially that Harrison and I are expecting a little girl this May and her name will be Lola Marie Campbell :) We found out we were pregnant when I was about 5 weeks pregnant. We were totally surprised but excited for sure. For some reason we thought it'd take forever to get pregnant, boy were we wrong about those stats. I am 18 weeks pregnant and feeling good. Oh and my baby bump has officially arrived. However, don't expect pics of that. Instead I've got some pics of Lola for all to see. Check out our beautiful girl.
